Get the look.. Add a bit of Neon..

Have you ever seen a decorator style you like but are not sure how to add it into your home or room? Today on Jode Designs 'Get the look', we show you how to add about of Neon into your world.. Enjoy..

There are many different colours to choose from in the Neon palette.. The most popular ones at the moments are Pink, Yellow and Orange..

If you are a bit more conservative or are not in a position to paint a whole room in a neon colour.. then you can add it in with small accessories.. These include vases, baskets, decorator items or planters.. (Don't you just love the bulldog?!)..

Soft furnishings like cushions, rugs, blankets and sheets are a great way to add a little or a lot of Neon in at once.. There are also some great fabrics out there that mix a few neon colours in together..

When I think of Neon I immediately think of the 1950's Neon lights!! There are still some original lights around as well as some new replica ones.. They would make a great talking piece in any room.. Wall art, prints and frames are also a great way to bring a neon colour into a room at an eye level.. (The washy tape is very cost affective!)

Finally, if your feeling brave and want a good splashing of Neon throughout.. then get your paint brush out and paint a wall or alternatively purchase a piece of furniture that will make the colour really pop!!..
